Shade55 is a 100% American-made men’s denim company out of Los Angeles, CA. Having a very experienced team with impressive previous credentials, this start-up needed a website, social media strategy, and marketing collateral to help them stand out in a crowded space, and have a solid foundation from which to grow as their business grew. Shade 55 needed an initial site to act as a home base for lead generation, as well as for establishing positioning and branding for the company in a crowded marketspace. Since Shade 55 just entered the denim market, they also needed to grow their fan base for the initial launch. The Shade 55 brand is 100% American made denim, and carrying this theme throughout all marketing materials and executions was a requirement.
The Solution
Circle Marketing and Shade 55 agreed that the first version of the company website would be built in WordPress to start generating some quality SEO and history, while being completely scalable for future additions and capabilities. For social media, we reached out to a pre-qualified range of targeted demographics to find prospective customers who fit well with the brand’s core identity.
The Results
Since taking over the Facebook page, we helped grow the Shade 55 Likes by over 250%, established a strategy for rewarding customers who signed up for the growing eMail list, and helped establish a solid blogging history for better SEO and eventual direct sales. Circle Marketing designed, photographed, and created the Shade 55 Summer 2013 Look Book which was presented to a major retail chain, which Shade 55 is now being sold in nationally.
