Mwokaji means “Baker” in Swahili. Mwokaji Cakery is a custom cake, cupcake, and dessert maker in Los Angeles. They originally had a template-driven website, but that inefficient template wasn’t giving them the kind of professional appearance and capabilities required to compete in a crowded marketplace.
Circle Marketing consulted with Mwokaji on their brand messaging and overall marketing strategy first. This way, we can figure out the road map, and where they wanted to go, so getting there would be easier and smoother. Next, we would build a new website which with an e-commerce shopping cart and full tracking and analytics capabilities. This would help Mwokaji sell more items, at a margin-friendly but still competitive price point, and help to start building a database of prospective and current customers, and seamless integration with major social media platforms to keep the orders coming in.
We are currently finishing up the website and email marketing phase of the project, and will have regular updates to this Case Study as results start coming in.
